The blower directly relies on the motor to drive the rotor to drive the blades to rotate. When the blades rotate, air is sucked in from the air inlet, and the resulting centrifugal airflow is blown out from the front nozzle of the blower. When the air passes through, if the heating wire on the heating bracket installed in the tuyere has been energized to become hot, hot air will be blown out; if the selector switch does not make the heating wire energized and heated, cold air will be blown out. The selector switch on the handle of the hair dryer is generally divided into three gears, namely, off gear, cold wind gear, and hot wind gear, with indicators in white, blue, and red. According to the air supply method, there are centrifugal blowers and axial blowers. The centrifugal type relies on the electric motor to drive the wind blades to rotate, so that the air entering the hair dryer obtains inertial centrifugal force and continuously exhausts the air to the outside. Its disadvantage is that all the exhausted wind does not flow through the motor, and the temperature of the motor is higher; the advantage is lower noise.
The axial flow motor drives the blades to rotate, pushing the air entering the hair dryer to flow axially, and continuously exhausting the air. Its advantage is that all the discharged wind flows through the motor, and the motor has good cooling conditions and the insulation is not easy to age; its disadvantage is that it is noisy.
According to the material used in the shell, there are metal type hair dryer and plastic type hair dryer. The metal hair dryer is durable and can withstand higher temperatures. Plastic hair dryers are light in weight and have good insulation properties, but they are easy to age and have poor high temperature resistance.
