1. Brand choice

2. Type selection

After years of development, electric iron products have diversified product types. Common electric irons have simple structure, low prices, and convenient maintenance. The disadvantage is that they cannot automatically adjust the temperature. Inexperienced people use this kind of electric iron, ironing quality is difficult to guarantee, and a slight negligence is likely to iron the clothes. It is convenient and free to use, but the price is relatively expensive.

3. Power selection

Ordinary electric irons can't adjust the temperature automatically, so don't choose high-power ones, 300W is better. The temperature-regulating electric iron has a temperature control function, and it is generally appropriate to purchase 500W power. When purchasing a steam jet electric iron, the power cannot be too low, because too small power will cause insufficient steam spray and affect the ironing effect. Generally, it is better to choose 750W or more.

This is only required for professional ironing shops. The iron with a cast iron soleplate is heavier and has a large heat capacity, making it suitable for ironing thick clothes. Electric irons with aluminum alloy soleplates are lighter and lighter to hold, but have lower heat capacity and are suitable for ironing lighter clothes.

5. The choice of quality

Observe the outer surface, the surface of the electroplating layer should be smooth, the front end of the bottom plate should have proper rounded corners, not too sharp, the transition between the bottom surface and the side surface should be smooth, and there should be no gaps between the bottom plate and the cover.

Shaking the iron should not make a noise, and the vertical discharge iron should not tip over. After the power is turned on, touch the metal part with the back of your hand. If there is no numb feeling, it means that there is no leakage. If the soleplate is heated for a few minutes after turning on the power, it means that the circuit of the electric iron is intact.
