Disinfect disposable masks with a hair dryer

The outermost is to isolate the virus, and the innermost is directly in contact with our skin. In fact, the method is very simple. We prepare a clean preservation bag and put the mask in. The virus can be completely killed when the temperature reaches 56 degrees Celsius. So we put the mask to be disinfected into the preservation bag and use the home Blow on the hair dryer. We open the hot windshield of the hair dryer like this and blow hot air inside. Because the temperature of the hot windshield of the hair dryer can reach 60 degrees or more, it can effectively kill these bacteria. We can seal the mouth of the bag after blowing it for about a minute, and leave the mask in this high temperature state for a long time, and the bacteria can be completely killed. We leave the mask in the bag for half an hour, and then we can put the mask under the ultraviolet light for irradiation.

We all know that ultraviolet rays can effectively kill some viruses. We can easily remove these viruses by putting the mask under an ultraviolet lamp for 30 seconds.

If the disposable mask is cleaned or disinfected, the protective effect will be reduced, so it is not recommended to clean and disinfect the mask. The precautions when wearing a mask are as follows:

1. Disposable mask: It should not be cleaned and disinfected before being used repeatedly. Because it is a disposable mask, it should be discarded after use;

2. Ordinary medical protective mask: It is not recommended to wear it for more than 4 hours. If there is no obvious stain or damage, it can be reused, but it is not waterproof, and the protective effect will deteriorate after 4 hours;

3. Medical surgical mask: It has a certain waterproof effect, so it can be worn for a longer time. When there is no obvious stain or damage, the wearing time should not exceed 24 hours, and it should be discarded after 24 hours;

4. N95 mask with exhalation valve: You can use it repeatedly when there is no clear damage or defacement. However, when the mask you wear comes in contact with a suspected infected person or a confirmed patient, the mask should be discarded. It should be treated as medical waste and should not be thrown away in the general trash can.
